Terms and Conditions for the Sale of Video Content
Pike Press offers for sale journalistic video content produced by its collective. This activity is subject to the following provisions:
Applicable legal obligations
Consumer Code: In accordance with Articles L. 221-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has a 14-day right of withdrawal, except in the case of digital content where performance has begun with the buyer’s prior consent and express waiver of the right of withdrawal.
VAT: Sales of video content are subject to VAT at the applicable rate. The applicable rate is stated on each invoice.
Copyright: Purchasing a video content grants the buyer a license to use it under the terms defined in the assignment agreement. Moral rights remain inalienable to the authors.
Terms of sale
- Price: Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included.
- Payment: Payment is made via PayPal.
- Delivery: Digital content is made available via secure download.
- Warranties: In accordance with Article L. 217-4 of the Consumer Code.
License of use
Acquiring a video content grants the following rights:
- Right of broadcast under the terms defined in the contract
- Right of reproduction within the agreed limits
- The rights granted are [exclusive exclusive] according to specific mention
Mediation and disputes
In the event of a dispute, the buyer may resort to consumer mediation in accordance with Articles L. 611-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code.
